The writer commands attention as poems of revelation and self-discovery introduce themselves like an undiscovered treasure. The conversations of spiritual atonement and appreciation are well documented with light and transparency. The tale of love, joy, history, self-education, and hints of heaven is told in simplicity and tones of friendliness. The readers will be provoked to cheer, laugh, cry, think, and love themselves and others. This is a work worth reading time and time again.

About the Author

Audra Denise Bryant is a poet, author, playwright, social worker, Christian servant, and motivational speaker. The Arkansas native first learned of her love for words and poetry when her parents would make her recite Easter speeches in church. As a teenager, Audra discovered the writings of Maya Angelou and her life was changed. As a student of Southern Arkansas University, Audra wrote her first poem to encourage a friend and learned that she had the talent to encourage others through her written words. Audra began to write articles, short stories, poetry, and plays. After graduating from college in 1999, Audra moved to Texas and then on to Detroit, MI in 2000. In 2010, Audra published her first book of poetry, Love Psalms. Love Psalms showcased Audra's uncanny ability to see a subject matter from several different perspectives. In the book, Audra tackled the concept of love from two different viewpoints-consciously and spiritually. Audra's new book, Sentiments of a Southern Lady, embarks on Audra's journey to share stories of her southern upbringing and self-discovery. Audra is proud of her Southern roots and takes pride in her very large family. She is the second oldest child of seven children and enjoys traveling. Audra also loves to cook and wants to one day complete a cookbook with some of her favorite, family recipes. Along with writing, Audra has worked in the Child Welfare System for over 10 years. She takes delight in providing services that help to restore families who have been affected by the foster care system. Audra's dream is to one day see one of her plays on Broadway, and to see her movie production hit the big screen. Audra currently resides in Detroit, Michigan.
