Author events are very popular at Copperfish Books! We ask that you RSVP so that we can manage the space, order enough books, and make sure your overall experience is positive and enjoyable. Most of our events are free and open to the public; some may require a book purchase or a ticket. Look for RSVP details on each of the individual event listings.
We have three types of event reservations:
- A General Reservation is for general seating and/or standing room and does not require a book purchase. This option guarantees your admittance to the event, but it does not guarantee a seat. We will do our best to give you a seat, but for larger events, you may have to stand
. - A Priority Reservation guarantees you a seat and a priority spot in the signing line, and does require a book purchase. This option will be offered for select in-store events. To get a Priority Reservation, purchase the author's book in our store, on our website, or call us. If you purchase from our website, please indicate that you wish to make a Priority Reservation. Because some may plan to come with a spouse, partner or another member of the household, we understand you might not be interested in buying two books. You may purchase a second Priority Reservation for $10.
- A Ticketed Reservation is for events that require payment to attend. You are guanteed a seat and any additional items that are included in the ticket price, such as a copy of the book, a beverage, or food.
