Children's Book Week Superpower Activity

A child wearing a read cape and blue mask hold their left arm straight out with a fist. Text reads "Reading is my superpower"

Copperfish Books will host a free reading craft activity for kids grades K-3 on Tuesday, May 4 at 4pm, to celebrate the Children’s Book Week Theme, "Reading Is a Superpower." We'll be reading some super fun stories, and also making our very own paper superhero capes!

This activity will be held outdoors. Space is limited and you must RSVP to attend. Stop in or call 941-205-2560. If it rains, the event will not be held. If you are not sure whether it’s on or not, give us a call at 941-205-2560.

Children's Book Week is the longest-running national literacy initiative in the country. Children's Book Week is administered by Every Child a Reader, an award-winning, nonprofit organization that celebrates the powerful impact books have on young people.
