Wendy Wax’s newest novel (publishing on April 25) is One Good Thing (Berkley Books/Penguin Random House). Her contemporary women’s fiction explores friendship, loyalty, self-discovery and the seemingly insurmountable challenges life sometimes presents. Her previous novels – A Week at the Lake, While We Were Watching Downton Abbey and her Ten Beach Road novels (One Good Thing, Sunshine Beach, The House on Mermaid Point, Ocean Beach and Ten Beach Road) – have been featured in national media such as USA Today, Ladies’ Home Journal, Woman’s World.
Born in St. Petersburg, Florida, she grew up on St. Pete Beach within spitting distance of the Gulf of Mexico. Wendy now splits her time between Atlanta and New York City. When not writing, she visits with readers at bookstores and book events, reads, enjoys her and her husband’s newly empty nest and catches up with her sons on the serendipitous occasions when everyone ends up in the same place at the same time.
