A testimony about the love letters from God: At the age of thirty-one I was a widow, addicted to drugs, in an abusive relationship, mother of two young children, and I was lost. My heart was numb from bad choices and life. But God knows what we need when it is needed the most. He brought Theresa into my life and she began sending me the daily love letter. Even though I didn't know anything about Jesus, I had to have the letter every day. The words were so beautiful and full of love. They could have only come from Jesus. He began to soften my heart. As I read, wounds healed, and hope was given. He loved me no matter where I was. He was waiting on me. After a short period of time, I gave my heart to Jesus. About the Author
Theresa was born into an American military family stationed in Germany on July 16, 1954. They predominately lived in Lawton, Oklahoma and her dad is buried there at the Ft. Sill cemetery. Church life was a normal life. She grew up under the nurture and care of a wonderful pastor and parents who convinced her from a very early age that God was real and He was personal...and He could meet her every need. She believed every word of it! That steadfast belief and knowing that God could pull her out of any one of her messes, at any given time, has kept her in a place of hope all her life. For as long as she can remember, she had a desire to write. She enjoys reading biographies and true life stories. After the death of her husband of 20 years, the writing became a release, a healing process, and a new life emerged as she began her own publishing company Heart of My Heart Publishing Co., LLC. Theresa has designed her webpage at www.three-sheep.com where she sells her books, as well as other authors' books, paintings, photography, and jewelry by some of the finest artists! These books came out of a recovery of a financial loss during the death of Theresa's late husband and her road back to financial victory, emotional healing, and joy in this new era of her life. She is now happily married as of March 19, 2011 and enjoying a passel of grandchildren equaling 20 from ages 1 up! She and her late husband, Dick Heflin, were part owners of a hospital and he was an administrator. Now, God has blessed Theresa with Ralph Nichols, a cattle farmer, a slow-paced life in the country where heaven meets earth every day. She lives a life surrounded by peace, a train's whistle, their cat's purr, the neighbor's dog, and it makes all conducive for writing from the heart.
