Cathy’s background includes teaching high school, the US Air Force, a couple of corporate sales jobs, and a Benedictine monastery. She grew up in Orlando, spent many years in Maryland, and a few in Costa Rica. Yani is an avid reader, social media content creator, and lover of all things artistic! When she's not immersed in literature, she enjoys journaling, sculpting, and bonding with Jalapeño, her trusty bird sidekick. While horror and fantasy are her go-to genres, Yani is a versatile reader and a member of our Romance and Mystery book clubs. Karen has a degree in Bio-Medical Science from Western Michigan University.  She loves to travel and has travelled extensively with her husband (and cat), both because of her husband’s job and for pleasure.  Her 15 year book sales experience includes working for Borders in both Redmond and Bellevue, Washington; Hooked on Books and, of course, Copperfish...where she says her co-workers and customers are the best!  Favorite genre: Mysteries.  Favorite cat:  Thumper (very big Maine Coon mix). See Karen's picks >>>

Serena started her work life in book publishing, was a social worker in aging care, and managed web services for a nonprofit corporation before moving to Florida. She often works behind the scenes on purchasing, marketing, and website management, and loves to help bookstore patrons in any way she can. Fiction and historical fiction are her go-to genres, but she'll delve into a mystery or thriller if the mood hits. She enjoys gardening, day trips, and being with friends. See Serena's picks >>>
