About the Author

Dr. Terezakis is an associate professor of radiation oncology and director of pediatric radiation oncology at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. Her clinical research has been focused on the optimization of modern therapies for pediatric cancers, particularly bone and soft tissue sarcomas, CNS tumors, and lymphomas.Dr. MacDonald is an associate professor of radiation oncology at Harvard Medical School, and a radiation oncologist at the Massachusetts General Hospital. Her research focuses on the optimal use of proton radiotherapy for pediatric malignancies and young women with breast cancer and minimizing side effects of cancer therapies.
