ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Donald J. Palmisano, M.D., J.D., FACS, a New Orleans native, retired surgeon, and USAF veteran, is the principal of Donald J Palmisano Consulting (Intrepid Resources). This book derived from Dr. Palmisano's popular Tulane University School of Medicine seminar "How to Give a Memorable Speech" that he teaches to medical students and faculty using lessons learned from his extensive experience of over 1000 speeches and interviews worldwide. He is a frequent keynote conference speaker and trains executives on leadership and effective speech delivery.

Dr. Palmisano served as American Medical Association (AMA) President in 2003-2004 and President of the Louisiana State Medical Society from 1984-1985, where he was inducted into its Hall of Fame.
